Tulola was started in 2007 by designer Sri Luce-Rusna. Sri opened the Tulola Studio working on one-of-a-kind art wear pieces focused on exploring and elevating the traditional craftsmanship techniques of Indonesia and applying them to contemporary contexts. Working with six master craftsmen in 2011, Sri started the Tulola Studio with the intention of creating exquisitely crafted pieces that celebrated the Indonesian metal smithing tradition.
